Can a report template pull numbers from my data automatically? +
That is the point of automating it. You keep the template in Google Slides or Google Docs, connect Airtable, Google Sheets, a SQL database, a CSV or a REST API, and each run fills the same layout with current figures. Nobody copies a number by hand.
Should a recurring report be a deck or a document? +
Use Google Slides when the layout is the product and the length is fixed — a client-facing report where charts and images sit exactly where the designer put them. Use Google Docs when the content drives the length, so pages break and tables grow as the data does.
